In 1747 the new vicar of Brading described the
vicarage as 'the most noisome dwelling' and promptly had a new one built
on the site! This is now called Mulberry Lawn, and after serving the
church for 200 years it became a holiday complex then a care home before
our present ownership in 2003.
Situated in a quiet lane alongside the church, Mulberry
Lawn is a stone-built house with many original features such as the
majestic chimneys, imposing porch and shuttered windows. Various
extensions have been built over the years making a substantial property
for accommodating our residential guests.

On
painting breaks we can accommodate 4 single people, or more if rooms are
shared with friend or partner. This is in en-suite accommodation (or
with separate private bathroom).

There
is a gallery area on the first floor where our artists
can view paintings, videos/DVD's and art magazines.
