FERRY FARES

We are aware of the high ferry fares to and from the Isle of Wight, here are a few points that may help:

	Red Funnel is often cheaper than Wightlink, so try both before booking
	Its often worth trying the special offers on the ferry web sites, but these do not necessarily apply all day every day, especially Fridays and Mondays
	The internet booking is cheaper but time-consuming to get the best deal, so maybe phone the ferry service (staff do seem to be very helpful) to ascertain the best deal and then book on line.
	You may want to consider traveling by train or coach to Portsmouth or Southampton then by passenger ferry to the Island. We will arrange to pick you up at Ryde from Wightlink Fastcat ferry or hovercraft - or better still for us is if you can catch the train to Brading which meets the ferry. If arriving on the Red Jet from Southampton to Cowes, the bus service is not easy to Brading so we could arrange to pick you up from Cowes if necessary.

Traveling by car:

Car ferries are operated by Wightlink from Portsmouth to Fishbourne and Lymington to Yarmouth

Traveling on foot:

After taking the passenger ferry from Portsmouth to Ryde take the train from Ryde to Brading and we will be happy to meet you by arrangement
